We have just recently recieved news that the Oyster Bar has been added to the exclusive lists of restaraunts that are able to use the entire Botanical Gardens facilities for catering events. As you may already know the Oyster Bar specializes in events that are 100% tailored to your needs. A catering from the Oyster Bar will not include the same old cookie cutter type food. As some of you know, The Oyster Bar has gone through a recent transition with our executive chef position. We would like to say thank you to Matt for seven great years and sincerely wish him the best in his new endeavor. Now we want you to meet our new Executive Chef – Scott Dickmeyer!
Scott was formerly Executive Chef at Orchard Ridge before their temporary shut down and ownership change. For the last nine years Scott has been the Banquet and Catering Chef at Fort Wayne Country Club. We are thrilled and honored to have the opportunity that Scott will present for us.
We would also like to welcome Shannon Baugher to our kitchen staff! Shannon was the former chef at Bourbon Street. We look forward to Shannon complementing our already stellar staff.
We will be open Sunday for Easter brunch from 10am – 3pm. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner items will be available.

As with most restaurants, we are rapidly approaching our busiest time of year. As well as increased business in the actual restaurant, my catering availability also becomes limited. So if you have a holiday party that needs planned, make sure to contact me as soon as possible!!!!
OYSTERS!!! Although our menu consists of much more than this delicious treat of the sea… I feel that some of you feel a bit intimidated by what you are unfamiliar with. In my opinion raw is the way to go, but we do offer a variety of baked and fried oysters that you can try before you let a raw one slide down the hatch.
